VMware vCentre Cluster Cloud
Precision IT uses VMware's vCentre enterprise suite of products running on high-end HP equipment for our cloud hosting environment. VMware & HP offer the highest levels of performance, redundancy, availability and scalability for our environment.
The Precision Cloud was designed to make use of the enterprise features of VMware which is normally only available to large corporate IT systems. We have partnered with our product vendors to gain wholesale pricing for our infrastructure, resulting in higher value for our clients focusing on uptime and performance!

What do I get in the Cloud?
Resource Allocation
Our clients are provisioned a certain number of system resources (CPU speed, memory, hard-disk space) within our cloud. There are a selection of operating systems and configurations available or tailored solutions can be engineered to suit your exact requirements.
Enterprise Backup & Disaster Recovery
Our cloud is tied into our
Online Backup service, which makes for simple and highly effective backups of your server. Our backups are taken on a nightly basis and retained for 1 month onsite and rotated offsite weekly. Additional backup retention is available upon request.
Should there be any major disaster with your virtual server(s), an entire restoration of your server can be done from our nighly backups. All backups & restorations are managed by us therefore there is no headache restoring things when needed.
System Management & Unlimited Support
Support and system management is provided by
Managed IT Services team. At service commencement, a customised maintenance schedule will be devised to ensure that all updates, patching, and security processes are documented and organised efficiently.
Should any server and network related issues arise with your Cloud Server they will be tended to by our SupportDesk team at no additional charge.
24 / 7 System Monitoring
Included with all cloud hosted servers is our award-winning Precision Watch Monitoring system which monitors all aspects of your system including availability of services & performance stats, alerting our Managed IT Service SupportDesk team when something goes wrong or needs attention.
